Who we do it for
Resident Management Companies (RMC’s) and Right To Manage Companies (RTM)
As legislation has made it easier for lessees to appoint their own managers the trend towards managing agents acting for the owners and occupiers of flats has increased. The specific needs of a Residential Management Company (RMC) or a Right To Manage (RTM) differ from an absentee freeholder and delivering a service to lessees who own and manage their own blocks is specialist in maintaining the balance between what is wanted and what has to be done to comply with legislation and the lease.
FreeholdersThe traditional role of managing agents for many years has been acting for an investor landlord; whilst this is increasingly changing Priors see one of their skills as maintaining the balance between the freeholder and the lessees, again within the lease terms and complying with legislation
Andrew McKeer and Robert Aitken-Sykes both hold appointments from the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal (LVT) where they have been nominated by application and subsequently endorsed by formal hearing as Managing agent to blocks following hearings at the Residential Property Tribunal Services (RPTS) and Leasehold Valuation Tribunal (LVT) reflecting their knowledge and experience in the sector.
